EATT is tender intelligence supported by AI — not a subscription service, not a raw aggregator.

Every issue is human-curated, source-verified, and delivered with analyst context. The goal is not to show you every tender in East Africa. It is to show you the ones that matter — before your competitors find them.

Upcoming Intelligence — pre-publication procurement signals

⚡ Upcoming Intelligence — EATT's primary differentiator

Before a tender is formally published, it exists as a signal. A budget line in a government announcement. A programme plan on a World Bank STEP portal. A reference number in an AfDB annual procurement plan. A project approval that will generate tenders within 60 days.

EATT monitors these signals and publishes them in every issue — mapped to the relevant procurement window, with specific portal references for subscribers to monitor. When the tender goes live and meets EATT's inclusion criteria, it is promoted from Upcoming Intelligence to a full tender card.

This gives EATT subscribers weeks of lead time over any competitor relying on public tender boards alone. Aggregators find tenders after they are published. EATT finds them before.

Live example: AfDB has signalled six cybersecurity procurement programmes for Q2 2026 — reference numbers 2026/014 to 023 — covering CSOC Enhancement, IAM, Database Activity Monitoring, and Security Intelligence. These are not yet on any public tender board. EATT subscribers have them now.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a technology tender?

EATT covers IT infrastructure, telecom infrastructure, cybersecurity, software procurement, data centre equipment, network infrastructure, smart building technology, government digital transformation, ICT consulting, and AV systems. We do not cover construction, logistics, or general goods procurement.

How is EATT different from tender aggregators?

Tender aggregators list every tender from every sector — thousands of irrelevant results. EATT curates only technology-relevant opportunities, adds analyst context to each featured tender, and includes Upcoming Intelligence on projects not yet formally published. The difference is signal versus noise — and timing.

Who is EATT written for?

Business development professionals, regional sales directors, bid managers, and procurement advisors at technology companies, system integrators, managed service providers, and consultancies active in or targeting the East African market. EATT is also used by development sector procurement teams at NGOs, UN implementing partners, and bilateral donor organisations tracking what technology contracts are coming to market.

How is the intelligence delivered?

Every issue is delivered by email every Friday. Subscribers also have access to a member portal where the full archive of past issues is stored, searchable, and downloadable.

The portal is not just a back-issue library — it is a searchable procurement database. If a tender closes before you can act, you can track the contracting authority through the archive and be ready when they re-tender, which most do on a regular cycle. Search by country, sector, funder, or contracting authority to build your own forward pipeline view. Every tender EATT has ever published is in there.
